$/M-token

Also: dollars per million tokens · cost per million tokens · price per token

Dollars per million tokens ($/M-token) is the price of running a model expressed per one million tokens processed — usually quoted separately for input and output. It is the canonical unit for comparing model cost across providers and hardware because it normalizes away batch size, request shape, and the underlying chip. Mintok is named for it.
